Navigating The Internet To Find Business-to-Business Opportunities

The Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce Business University and the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center have partnered to offer training to small businesses in the Catoosa County and surrounding area to improve and enhance their market capability and reach.

The internet as a resource and tool reaches all four corners of the world. Yet, most businesses are only aware of a small part of what the internet offers related to business development opportunities.

The class will be held at the Colonnade Civic Center on March 24, from 9 a.m. until noon. This class is for everyone – you do not have to be a Chamber member. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The workshop is designed to show you how to:
· Conduct internet research
· Find/locate business research central to understanding your business and industry
· Use information generated from your research, identify/locate your business competitors which could be potential teaming partners, joint venture partners, or other collaborators that can help enhance your company’s capability
· Identify potential customers both domestically and internationally
· Identify tools to assist in devising your company’s marketing plan to include your target market as well as your marketing strategy
· Utilize social media tools in your marketing strategy

The class will be taught by Art Brown, President of LeScot Enterprises, Inc. in Mableton, Ga. LeScot is a consulting firm that offers business, marketing and economic development assistance and training.

Anyone may register for this class by calling the Chamber office at 706 965-5201, ext. 10. There is a charge of $25 to register; however, when you attend the class the money will be refunded to you at the end of the class. If you register and do not attend, there is no refund.

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
