Senior Helpers Celebrates Grand Opening Of Chattanooga Location

Provides Compassionate In-Home Senior Care

Tuesday, March 09, 2010

Senior Helpers, an in-home senior care provider, will celebrate its ribbon-cutting at 10 a.m. on March 26, at its new 7151 Lee Highway, Suite #200, location.

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce is assisting with the festivities. The public is welcome to attend this event.

Senior Helpers connects professional caregivers with seniors who wish to live at home as opposed to a nursing or assisted living facility. The company has 260 franchises in 37 cities throughout the country. It offers a wide range of personal and companion care services to assist seniors living independently with a strong focus on quality of life for clients and peace of mind for their families.

“It’s difficult to balance family, work and your own life while caring for a family member, but more and more families struggle to do it,” said Mike Guidry, with Senior Helpers of Chattanooga. “Families get exhausted, confused and burned out. That’s why people in this situation need to know it’s okay to ask for help.”

Senior Helpers’ caregivers provide services such as bathing/dressing assistance, cooking meals, taking clients to the doctor’s office, running errands, or just keeping someone company.

For more information about Senior Helpers, call 423 710-1500, or email Guidry at mguidry@seniorhelpers.com.

Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt. Chapin would have wanted.  He was a protector and sacrificed his life so the rest of ... (click for more)
