Chattanooga Police major crimes investigators have arrested a man in connection with a shooting May 14, 2009, on Heaton Street.
Kemo Lamar Johnson, 37, was charged with felony reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a weapon in connection with the incident at
1946 Heaton St.
On that date, patrol officers responded to 1946 Heaton where they found Michelle Hutto in her Ford Taurus suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower back.
Witnesses said they saw a dark-colored vehicle leaving the scene. Through investigation detectives have identified Johnson as being involved in the shooting.
Johnson has a criminal history dating back to 1993 including domestic assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and other offenses.
Johnson is being held at the Hamilton Jail.
