Bethel Bible Village Receives Help From Local Business And New York Students

AAA Basement waterproofing Systems, LLC of Ringgold, teamed up with Keuka College of Keuka Park, N.Y., to keep Bethel Bible Village dry.

Bethel Bible Village provides a Christ-centered home for children of families in crisis. Children come to Bethel and live in a safe nurturing home until they can return to their families.

The Stanley Cottage, home for eight boys, needed updated moisture protections for its crawl space. The crawl space needed updating so that moisture issues would not materialize.

AAA Basement Waterproofing Systems planned the project, donated materials and expertise. The students of Keuka College provided the labor.


Hixson Residents Donate To Ronald McDonald House

Bobby Vincent and his son Trey, of Hixson, made a $500 donation to the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House in memory of Michelle Vincent, who passed away after a two year battle with cancer. She had signed up to serve as a volunteer for the Chattanooga Ronald McDonald House; however, shortly after completing a volunteer orientation and training she learned that she had cancer.  ... Longtime Hamilton County Medical Examiner Frank king is switching roles with his assistant, Dr. James K. Metcalfe, county officials said. Dr. Metcalfe becomes medical examiner and Dr. King forensic examiner. County Mayor Jim Coppinger said the switch is "cost neutral" to the county. He said Dr. King would be taking a sizable pay cut. Comcast Employee Seriously Injured On Brown's Ferry Road When Hit By A Car Tuesday

A Comcast employee, Adrian Lewisson, 47, was directing traffic on Tuesday, when he was struck by a car driven by Justina Mays, 47. Chattanooga Police Officers responded to the scene at 500 Browns Ferry Road, at 1:50 p.m. Mr. Lewisson sustained serious injuries and was taken to Erlanger Hospital for treatment, where he is listed in critical condition.
