Boat Driver In Tuesday Evening's Jet Ski Accident Arrested For BUI

A jet ski accident on Tuesday evening sent two women to the hospital.

According to Chief Marcus Fritts, of the Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department, two 18-year-old women on a jet ski collided with two tubers being pulled by a boat. The mother suffered from rib injuries and the daughter suffered from an ankle and leg injuries.

The driver of the boat pulling the tubers was arrested for boating under the influence.

A boater called 911 at 7:50 p.m., reporting his wife and daughter were injured from a jet ski accident located at the Chester Frost Boat Ramp area.

The Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene and reported two patients with injuries. Hamilton County EMS Medic 4 transported the two patients to Erlanger Medical Center.

The Tennessee Wildlife and Resource Agency was on the scene as well, and will follow up with this accident.

Pickup Truck Crosses To Wrong Side Of Hixson Pike: Other Driver Killed

A pickup truck went across Hixson Pike into the opposing lane of traffic on Saturday afternoon, then struck another vehicle. The driver of that car was killed.
