This historically rich tour includes sites connected to early white settlement, governmental administration, the justice system, business, education, entertainment, housing, religion and the Civil War. From the spot where settlers gathered to name the new town to the one used for commemoration of to two local heroes, there is much to see, both in present reality, and in the mind’s eye.
