Chattanooga Attorneys Take Posts In Tennessee Association for Justice

Several Chattanooga attorneys have taken leadership posts in the Tennessee Association for Justice.

Eric Buchanan was named secretary.

Board members include Megan England Demastus, Pamela O'Dwyer and Morgan Adams.

The Tennessee Association for Justice recently elected Phillip Miller as president for the2010-11 term. A Nashville attorney, he replaces Wayne Ritchie of Knoxville who served as president from 2009-10. Mr. Ritchie now assumes the role of immediate past president and Leslie Muse of Knoxville advances to president-elect.

Dr. King, Dr. Metcalfe Switch Roles At Medical Examiner's Office; King Takes Pay Cut

Longtime Hamilton County Medical Examiner Frank king is switching roles with his assistant, Dr. James K. Metcalfe, county officials said. Dr. Metcalfe becomes medical examiner and Dr. King forensic examiner. County Mayor Jim Coppinger said the switch is "cost neutral" to the county. He said Dr. King would be taking a sizable pay cut. Comcast Employee Seriously Injured On Brown's Ferry Road When Hit By A Car Tuesday

A Comcast employee, Adrian Lewisson, 47, was directing traffic on Tuesday, when he was struck by a car driven by Justina Mays, 47. Chattanooga Police Officers responded to the scene at 500 Browns Ferry Road, at 1:50 p.m. Mr. Lewisson sustained serious injuries and was taken to Erlanger Hospital for treatment, where he is listed in critical condition.
