Linda Faye Haynes, 58, of Dalton, Ga., died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at her residence.
She was born July 17, 1951 in Dalton, Ga. Linda was a member of the Crosspoint Christian Center. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend to everyone.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Vernon Pettyjohn; and sisters, Wanda Hix and Shirley Keith.
She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Haynes of Dalton; mother, Edith Pettyjohn of Rocky Face; sons and daughters-in-law, Scott Holt of Dalton, Adam and Amber Holt of Tunnel Hill and Jarrod and Alicia Holt of Dalton; sisters, Margie Falkowski of Rocky Face, Darlene Weir of Dalton and Frankie Janow of Rocky Face; grandchildren, Kelsey Holt, Audrey Holt, Eli Bubba Holt, Gracie Holt and Hayneslie Holt; special friends, Kim Johnson and Arlene Cardenas; and several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Faye Haynes will be held Sunday, July 25, at 3 p.m. at Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Raymond McCranie and Reverend Stan Lester officiating. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens. Daniel Green, Brandon Hedden, Jonathon Barrett, Zack Byers, Chris Reed, and Sean Waits will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, July 24.
