Coleman and Grizzle Win July CBA Event

This month’s CBA night event was held July 24, 2010 at Chester Frost Park. There were 52 teams that fished this month’s tournament and CBA paid cash and prizes through 50 places.

The team of Chris Coleman and Chris Grizzle had the winning bag of fish weighing 22.23# to take the win and the first place check for $2,000. The win qualifies them for the 2010 Sportsman’s Warehouse Classic Championship if they fish at least 7 of the open tournament months.

The following teams rounded out the remainder of the places in the money:

-- 3rd - Randy Nuckols & Alan Mullis - 19.35# - $600
-- 4th - Azel Burrows & Tony Rogers - 18.83# - $500
-- 5th - Steve Kite & Daniel Lewis - 18.18# - $400
-- 6th - Jared Haas & Lee Haas - 18.09# - $300
-- 7th - im Kestner & Clark Akins - 17.72# - $300
-- 8th - John Gudel & John Green - 17.20# - $200
-- 9th - Buddy Gross & Jeff Sparks - 16.89# - $200
-- 10th - Wade Kilgore & Robbie McGill - 16.62# - $150

Jamie Hatcher and John Juntuen were the highest finishing New Team. Jim McCalahan and Colby Trulove were the highest finishing Youth Division Team. Both of these teams will receive a free entry fee into next month’s tournament for their finish in the August Night tournament.

Wade Kilgore and Robbie McGill had the big fish of the tournament with a Largemouth weighing 7.15 pounds, good for $300.

Allen Lewis & Chris Lewis had the big spot of the tournament at 2.30 pounds, good for $100.

Kathy Rawlston & Scott King had big smallmouth of the tournament at 3.29 pounds, good for $100.

Ultralight-Led Whooping Cranes Released At Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge

Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

An Chattanooga man told police Monday night that he had just murdered his wife.  Police said Robert Lee Hardnett, 50. showed up at the County Jail to turn himself in at 8:40 p.m. He said his wife's body could be found at his place of employment, Power Supply Company, 1907 Daisy St.   Officers responded to that address and found the body of 34-year-old Elizabeth ... Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again

The four remaining members of the Red Bank Commission held a special called meeting on Tuesday and chose Kenneth Welch as the replacement for Vice Mayor Greg Jones, who moved to Alaska. Thank You, Judge Mattice And Chattanooga

I would like to thank Judge Mattice for handing down a 30.5 year sentence for Kathleen Mathews.  Obviously, no amount of jail time, fines, or lashings can bring back Tim Chapin.   A 30-year sentence will, however, make the world just a little safer.  That's what Sgt.
