Wilma Hickey
Wilma Hickey, 60, of the East Lake Community of Chattanooga, died on Thursday morning, August 19, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Hickey.
Wilma was a loving sister and aunt, loved to cook for her family and taking care of children. She never had a bad word to say, had a gentle heart, and will be missed greatly by her family.
Survivors include her brother, Bobby Hickey; three sisters, Frances Burke, Liz (Mary) Jones, and Dorothy Hickey; brothers-in-law, Larry Jones and Bobby Burke; nephews, Darren Strickland, Steve Strickland and James Burke; nieces, Jill Burns and Erica Mickel; seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with Rev. Paul Williams officiating.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family would like to say thanks to the staff at Health Center at Standifer Place for their loving care of Wilma during her time there.
