East Ridge Express 00 Red U11 Boys Win Brentwood Invitational

The East Ridge Express 00 Red U11 boys team won the Brentwood Invitational in Nashville this past weekend.

In group play Express 00 Red played the Brentwood Elite #1, Lobo's from Memphis and Brentwood 00 Elite from Nashville. After winning all three games and conceding only one goal we played Brentwood Elite again in the Championship and won the game 4-0.

Players on the team were Logan Dunn, Mathew Risley, Mack Erickson, Max Gray, Duncan Phebus, Hope Sanders, Aidan Foley, Justin Bennett, Justin Hensley, Isaiah Pozas, Tanner Ward and Barrett Wilson.

The team will be attending the FC Alliance Fall Classic in Knoxville in September.

The team is coached by Andy Wishart.


Creech Dominant As Ooltewah Defeats Cleveland

$750,000 Settlement Reached In Case In Which Bicyclist Was Hit By Tahoe

A $750,000 settlement has been reached in Hamilton County Circuit Court in a case in which a bicyclist was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe and seriously injured. Sean Sanderson and his wife, Dr. Stephanie Sanderson, of Cleveland, Tn.,had filed suit against Benjamin Wilson and Oscar Wilson.
