Mary Virginia ‘MaMaw’ Wooten, 75, of Cleveland, Tn., died on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. ‘Bob’ Wooten; and her parents, Hubert and Willie Eckstein.
Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Libby and Ronnie Patrick of Cleveland and Angela and Jim Rose of Decatur; three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Beverly Wooten, Dwayne and Kathy Wooten and Tony and Sandi Wooten all of Cleveland; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy Wooten, Brian Wooten, Nathan Wooten, Robbie Wooten, Matthew Wooten, Kevin Wooten, Jana Wooten, Summer Bowling, Amber Bishop, Chad Yother, Lauren Nix and Dustin Patrick all of Cleveland; 13 great-grandchildren; her best friend, Chipper; two sisters, Bert Cross and Linda Melton both of Cleveland; two brothers, Bill Eckstein of Cleveland and Kenneth Eckstein of Dalton; several nieces and nephews; and countless friends.
A Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 3 at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel with Minister Jeff Archey, Pastor Lyle White and Tom Bowling officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. at Jim Rush Funeral Homes, Wildwood Avenue Chapel who is in charge of the arrangements.
