Olla Faye Turner, 64, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, in a local hospital.
She was a teacher with the Chattanooga School System and retired after 34 years. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Claudell Turner; sons, Tony Turner and Michael (Jennifer) Turner; daughters, Amber Faye Turner and Gaylin (Andy) Walker, all of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Christopher Turner, Alexis Turner, Graylin Walker, Gabriel Walker and Haley Shaw; parents, J.C. and Deloris Hill, both of Monroe, La.; brothers, Kenneth (Kim) Hill, of Fayetteville, N.C., Gerald Hill, of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Derrick Hill, Terrence Hill and Jerome Hill, all of Monroe, La.; sisters, Marabeth Davis, of Houston, Texas and Elaine Barnett, of Chattanooga; uncle, George Kidd, of Oxhill, Md.; several nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home, with the discourse given by Brother Lebron Flanagan.
