Moore, Arlynn "Lynn" Edwina

Arlynn "Lynn" Edwina Moore, of Signal Mountain, died on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010.

She was born on Dec. 29, 1930 in Columbus, Ga. and was the daughter of the late Ercell and Archie Chalkley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Emmett D. Moore.

They were residents of Signal Mountain, for many years before Emmett's death. She returned to Signal Mountain to her home at Alexian Village.

Arlynn was very fond of gardening and was blessed with a green thumb. She very much enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and had most recently developed a passion for dancing. She had an open mind, a kind heart and a quick smile that always warmed the soul.

Survivors include a daughter, Melissa A. Moore, Chattanooga; two sons, Jeffrey D. (Debbie) Moore, of Ackworth, Ga., and D. Andrew Moore, of Tullahoma, Tn.; a grandson, Matthew (Rebecca) Moore and a great-grandson, Ethan.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Jump officiating.

Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 4, at the funeral home.

There will be a celebration of life held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Alexian Village.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orange Grove Center, 615 Derby St., Chattanooga, Tn. 37404.

Kinser, Waldo Oran (Chatsworth)

Waldo Oran Kinser, 58, of Chatsworth, Ga., died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at his residence. Waldo was born May 12, 1953 in Ellijay, Ga., a son of the late Wilbur Oran and Texxie Dotson Kinser; and was also preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Kinser; and sister, Debbie Kinser. Man Tells Police He Just Murdered His Wife

Red Bank Commissioners Choose Kenneth Welch To Replace Greg Jones; Jeno Won't Run Again
