Cornerstone Community Bank of Chattanooga announced the appointment of Kim Adams to Information Security Officer.
Her responsibilities in this capacity include development, delivery and continuous improvement of a comprehensive Information Security Program to the Bank; protection of Bank information and its infrastructure from external or internal threats, and assurance that the Bank complies with all statutory and regulatory requirements regarding information security.
A 20-year information systems veteran, Ms. Adams has worked in a variety of management information system positions, with the past two years focused on Sarbanes-Oxley, Information Security and GLBA as an independent consultant for Cornerstone Community Bank. She is a member of the Information Systems Audit and Control Association.
Ms. Adams is a graduate of the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. She and her husband, Morgan, have three children and reside on Lookout Mountain.
