Mobile Window, Door Screening Business Launches In Chattanooga

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

Screenmobile Corporation, a mobile screen repair and replacement franchise, announced its newest franchise operation will serve Chattanooga and surrounding areas. David and Kelly LeCroy, lifelong residents of Chattanooga, were awarded the Screenmobile franchise.

Screenmobile of Chattanooga will serve Bradley, Catoosa and Hamilton counties including the areas of Apison, Chattanooga, Cleveland, McDonald, Ooltewah and Ringgold.

After 18 years as a police officer with the city of East Ridge, followed by 16 years of truck driving for several local companies, Mr. LeCroy was looking for a change. “I was ready to take the lessons I learned working for others and put them to use in running my own business,” he said.

In deciding what type of business to launch, Mr. LeCroy looked to his personal experience. Several years ago when he hired a company to fix his screens, they were removed from the windows, and sent off for repair. When his screens were returned, none fit the windows properly, and his windows remained screen less, he said.

Mr. LeCroy not only knew first-hand Chattanooga needed screening service, he knew a mobile service would be the key to success, which led him to Screenmobile.

Mr. LeCroy’s conversations with Screenmobile’s chief executive officer, Scott Walker, sealed the deal. “I found the Screenmobile franchise system to be a stable company with a big family feeling,” said Mr. LeCroy. “Feeling like one big family is exactly how I want my customers to feel - personal attention from me, the company owner, rather than sales person.”

“The LeCroys’ work experience will be an asset to their new business, and their professionalism and customer service standards match the Screenmobile philosophy and core beliefs,” said Mr. Walker. "We are pleased to welcome David and Kelly LeCroy to the Screenmobile family."

David’s wife, Kelly, a bookkeeper for a local school district, will be assisting with the business. As a mobile business, they say they look forward to bringing their screening service to Chattanooga doors and windows.
