Cleveland Department Of Human Services Hosts Meeting For Childcare Providers

The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Cleveland State Community College is partnering with the Department of Human Services to host an informational meeting for local childcare providers on Sept. 14 from 8:30-10 a.m. at the Department of Human Services located at 950 Star Vue Drive.

The purpose of the meeting is to inform local daycare and childcare providers of the free online training for professional development as well as child care licensing available through the Tennessee SBDC.

Brenda Sheehy, CSCC Small Business Development Center director, said, “This is the second session we’ve done with the DHS. It is a great opportunity for childcare center owners and directors to learn more information on how they can accrue needed continuing education credits for their centers with the new online program.”

Prosecutors Asking Maximum Sentence For "Evil" Mother Of Jesse Mathews

Prosecutors are asking that the mother of the man charged with killing Chattanooga Police Sgt. Mark Phillips Was Victim In Fatal Hixson Pike Wreck

Mark Phillips, 54, was the victim in a fatal Hixson Pike wreck on Saturday afternoon. Police said the driver of the Ford F150 that went out of control and struck the Phillips vehicle was 68-year-old Warren Elliott.
