There is a certain impression throughout Tea-Partyism that they need a candidate who is "young and marketable," and I don't fit this bill.
This unreliable impression has cost us many good candidates through the years and nearly cost us our country.
Of all the "young and marketable" candidates, the most prominent is Bill Clinton, now superceded by another figurehead of the imagination, the current so-called President.
We don't need to follow the herd to destruction and we must quit electing images.
