As the trial regarding Chattanooga's mayor is underway, I am wondering what I want from a mayor.
I want Chattanooga to be safe. Our rank as a violent city is not acceptable.
Making our city a good place to just walk and see the natural beauty is important.
Jobs are important.
Educating our children is vital.
Living in any neighborhood should be an anchor for hope. It should be home.
All our streets are not safe. All those who want to work cannot. All our kids cannot read and write. This is not good.
If our mayor can make Chattanooga a good home, he should be in the job.
If he can't, we need someone else. Is it you? Is it me?
I want Chattanooga to be my home. And I want it to be the best home in the country.
So who should be mayor?
