Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga (YPAC) is partnering with Battle Academy and Calvin Donaldson Academy to support the "Half Campaign." The campaign is an initiative that asks Chattanoogans to volunteer half an hour each month to spend time with students from the area.
"Half Campaign" volunteers are encouraged to visit Battle Academy or Calvin Donaldson Academy to read to a child, eat lunch with him/her, and essentially just be there for that student as a positive influence in his/her life.
The campaign is open to anyone who wishes to give a half hour of their time every month to benefit students in the Chattanooga community.
Interested participants are encouraged to contact Patty Streip at Battle Academy (streip_patty@hcde.org) or Will Honeycutt at Calvin Donaldson Academy (honeycutt.will@gmail.com) to determine a schedule and comfortable participation level for each person.
