South Seminole Drive Bridge Repairs Will Be On Saturday

Wednesday, September 08, 2010

The contractor performing the bridge rehabilitation work on the South Seminole Drive Bridge over I-24 will be pouring concrete to construct the new riding surface for the bridge on Saturday.

This concrete work will start in the early morning and will take most of the day on Saturday to complete. The contractor will be parking concrete trucks on the bridge while the fresh concrete is being removed from the delivery trucks.

The bridge is currently reduced to one-lane with temporary traffic signals controlling the traffic. Flagmen will be used to direct traffic while the new concrete is being poured.

The concrete work will cause delays to motorists who regularly use this bridge. Please consider rescheduling your travel plans in this area. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route on Saturday, if possible.

If rainy weather postpones the work, then the operation will be rescheduled for Monday.

We Are Blessed To Have Ron Littlefield As Our Mayor - And Response (2)
