Tuesday, October 04, 2011

Industry technology veteran Aern Hetem, will be stepping up to lead Tricycle, Inc. Mr. Hetem replaces Jonathan Bragdon, who will be stepping down as president of Tricycle to pursue new interests.

This transition takes place on the heels of the highest volume of Tryk sample (Tryks are digital representations of building product samples) sales in the history of the company. Mr. Bragdon, who co-founded Tricycle in 2002, has been instrumental in igniting a leading industry technology for enabling sustainable design in the interiors industry.

Ray Moncrief, chairman of the board, said, "We owe Jonathan a huge debt of gratitude for his vision, hard work and determined leadership these past eight years. We wish Jonathan every success as he moves on to new professional endeavors."

Mr. Bragdon said, "This was a difficult decision. The people at Tricycle are family to me. However, there comes a time when leadership changes are natural and now is that time. Tricycle is in great shape and leaving on a record setting month is a perfect end to a wonderful ride. My heart will always be with this company and I see nothing but great things ahead with Aern at the helm and a great team in place."

Mr. Hetem has spent 25 years in the technology industry, including more than 20 in technology businesses serving the interiors industry. In his new position Mr. Hetem will broaden his current responsibilities to now oversee the sales, marketing, and customer operations along with technology for Tricycle. The company enables commercial interiors manufacturers, architects and interior designers to reduce costs and speed sales while eliminating unnecessary waste in the product creation and selection lifecycle.

"We look forward to leveraging Aern's broad experience in the technology arena," Mr. Moncrief said. "His wealth of experience and history of proven technologies are ideally suited to Tricycle's vision for the future of commercial interiors. We are confident his strategic approach to technology and customer relations will result in even more solid relationships with our existing and new customers."
