East Ridge Holds Christmas Parade Saturday

The City of East Ridge will hold its annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, at 6:30 p.m. The Parade route is down Ringgold Road from Germantown Road to Tombras Ave.

Line-up begins at 4 p.m. on Germantown Road from Ringgold Road north toward I-24. Germantown Road will be closed to all southbound traffic (except vehicles in the parade) beginning at 4 p.m. Only one northbound lane of Germantown will be open for traffic and for dropping off participants in the parade. Do not try to go southbound on Germantown if you are dropping off parade participants.



Ringgold Road will shut down at 6 .m. from Donaldson Road to Moore Road. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and goes down Ringgold Road from Germantown Road to Tombras Ave.

Woman, 26, Who Was Set To Testify In Murder Trial, Is Shot And Killed On Elder Street

A 26-year-old woman who was set to testify in an upcoming murder trial was shot multiple times and killed on Wednesday morning. Attorney For Bobby Stone Hits Berke, Fletcher For Commenting On Pending Case
