Wrigley To Invest $23.1 Million And Create 54 New Jobs

Officials of the Wrigley Company said Thursday they plan to invest $23.1 million at the facility on Jersey Pike.

The project will allow the company to add 54 jobs at average annual wages ranging from $48,900 to $69,000.

The project will require a company ivestment of $4.3 million in real property and $18.8 million in equipment.

Wrigley is a leader in confections with a wide range of product offerings including gum, mints, hard and chewy candies, lollipops and chocolate.

The firm is headquartered in Chicago.

It began operating in Chattanooga in 2005.
