Jerry Allen Brown, 61, of Pikeville, Tn., at the Alvin C. York VAMC in Murfreesboro, Tn., on Friday, Feb. 4, 2011.

Jerry was a veteran of the United States Army. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. He was a farmer and he loved his International tractor.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Brown.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Brown; special friend, Theda Seals and her children Travis and Jeromy; step-grandchildren, Rhianon and Logan; several aunts and uncles; and many close friends.

A celebration of his life will be held in the chapel of Pikeville Funeral Home on Monday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Wicker officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery with full military honors provided by American Legion Post 66, VFW post 5033.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 6.
