Baylor Boys Tennis Team Beats Kentucky State Champions

The Baylor School boys tennis team traveled to Louisville on Thursday and beat 2010 Kentucky state champion St. Xavier 6-3.

Baylor was state runner up last year and will play New Hanover High School from Wilmington, NC in the first round of the Decoturf National High School Championships Friday.

Smokies' Hurlers Limit Lookouts To Four Hits Sunday In 5-1 Win

Harrison Sparks Lookouts To 3-2 Win Over Smokies

For the second straight night Travis Harrison delivered in the clutch for the Chattanooga Lookouts. Tonight the third baseman drove in all three runs in the team's 3-2 win over the Tennessee Smokies before a crowd of 4,765 at AT&T Field. Strong Thunderstorm Causes Damage, Power Outages In Dalton

Shortly before  5 p.m. , a strong thunderstorm went through downtown Dalton, knocking down numerous trees, causing power outages and also causing damage. At this time, no injuries have been reported.  The Dalton Fire Department and Dalton Police Department responded to multiple reports of damage.
