Nancy L. Williams, 68, of East Ridge, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
She was a member of East Ridge United Methodist Church. She was an author, teacher and professor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Louise Scholtens.
She is survived by her husband, Tab Williams; two sons, Rick (Cherie) Williams, Guntersville, Ala., and Matt Williams (Andrea Hamilton), Red Bank; three grandchildren, Destin, Ayla and Brooke Williams; sister, Jeannie Svennungsen, Kent, Wa.; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, at East Ridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Ken Sauer officiating.
