Professional Dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy Returns For Belated Show

Monday, August 15, 2011

Partnership for Families, Children and Adults welcomes the return of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy to Chattanooga on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Hunter Museum of American Art.

The dancer will give a private performance to guests who attended the June 25 Dancing with the Stars Chattanooga fundraiser, which benefited the local nonprofit Partnership.

Organizers said, "The June event was a huge fundraising success for Partnership, with the only thing missing being the headlining guest star, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The professional dancer could not make the trip to Chattanooga due to illness, but promised event attendees he would return to Chattanooga in the coming weeks to deliver his much anticipated performance."

The event is free to those guests who attended the June 25 event at the Tivoli, but guests must bring their prior event ticket for admission. Guests may RSVP online or by calling 423 697-3827.

Additional tickets are available for purchase online for $50 each for those who did not attend the previous event. These additional tickets are very limited.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and will be followed by light hors d’ouveres, cash bar, a photo opportunity with Mr. Chmerkovskiy and a performance by him and his dance partner, Nicole Volynets.
