Salvation Army Accepting Applications For Christmas Assistance

The Salvation Army is taking applications for Christmas assistance, Oct. 4-6, 11–13 and Oct. 17–21, at The Salvation Army Warehouse at 5001 Covington Street off of Rossville Boulevard. Times are 9 a.m.–3 p.m., withextended hours on Thursdays until 7 p.m.

Anyone applying for Christmas assistance must bring:

· Picture ID for all adults
· Social security cards for everyone in household
· Birth certificates for each child
· Proof of income for everyone in household
· Food stamps award letter
· Families First letter
· Proof of address
· Proof of all expenses
