Three women on the staff at the Chattanooga Acupressure Clinic have been arrested for prostitution within a mile and a half from a school.
Charged were Melody Nicole Kirk, 25, of 203 Laurel Ave., South Pittsburg; Brandy Michelle Debter, 20, of 2009 McBrien Road, and Teresa P. Johnson, 49, of 3519 Valley View Highway, Sequatchie, Tn.
An undercover officer said he went to the clinic at 5932 Pine Grove Trail on Dec. 1 posing as a customer.
He said he paid $100 to Ms. Kirk, who agreed to perform sex acts.
Police said Ms. Johnson is the owner/manager and was present. Officers said it was found that she "encourages her employees to perform sex acts on customers in exchange for money and that she accepts the money earned through prostitution."
It was charged that Ms. Debter was also present and that she was also involved in the prostitution.
