Jim Bowen, director of special projects for the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA), will be the guest speaker at the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce's Downtown Council meeting Oct. 4.
Mr.
Bowen will provide details about CARTA’s new parking ambassadors program, which begins Oct. 22. He will also discuss the opening of the new Parking Authority Office, as well as the installation of advanced technology parking meters on Chattanooga streets.
The meeting, sponsored by Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain, will take place from 7:30- 8:30 a.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel located on 407 Chestnut St. Attendees are invited to come early and stay late for networking.
The Downtown Council meetings, which take place the first Thursday of each month, are open to the public. Admission is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Breakfast is provided.
