Belvoir Christian Academy Hosts Annual Fall Festival

Belvoir Christian Academy, at 800 Belvoir Ave. in East Ridge, invites the community to its annual fall festival on Sat., Oct. 27, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

This event, sponsored by the school’s Parent-Teacher League, has been an annual tradition for over 50 years. Festival events will include a "Bungee Run" inflatable, numerous children’s games, face-painting, tattoos and a donated car for carnival participants to "bash". 

Door prizes will be given away throughout the day, and a silent auction including multiple theme baskets will be open to all festival participants. Entertainment will include demonstrations from a local children's gymnastics team.

A pre-carnival rummage sale will begin at 8 a.m. in the school gymnasium and will last throughout the day. Additionally, a variety of vendors will be on hand to represent their products and services. “The General Store” will be open to all participants and will feature hundreds of jars filled with a variety of items for sale.  

Chili/corn chip pie and hot dog lunch plates will be available from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Admission is free. Tickets and all-inclusive armbands for the games will be on sale at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Parent-Teacher League in making purchases for the school's "Teacher Wish Lists" and technology updates.  Call 622-3755 for more information.
