Hurricane Junior Golf Tour To Make Stop At Valleybrook

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour is expanding to the state of Tennessee and will feature a stop at Valleybrook next April.

 

With over 85 events this upcoming season, the tour will feature three two other tournaments in the state of Tennessee.

 

The schedule includes:

March 16-17: Woodlake Resort, Knoxville

April 27-28: Valleybrook, Chattanooga

May 4-5: Severieville Resort, Nashville

The tour has produced over 2,500 collegiate golfers who have signed letters of intent at over 200 universities and promotes junior golf throughout the country.

 

Officials said, "Playing on the nationally accredited tour will give all juniors an opportunity to gain nationwide exposure through multiple ranking systems including the National Junior Golf Scoreboard (NJGS), the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), and the Golfweek/Titleist Performance Index, among others.

Conte states, “My passion, integrity, and love for the game have allowed me to develop a first-class operation. Our 2013 schedule is filled with some of the top courses in the country and we always strive to make your experience as memorable as possible.” 

The Hurricane Junior Golf Tour was founded in 2008 with the intention of providing junior golfers between the ages of 11-18 an opportunity to play exceptional courses in a competitive environment. Golfers who participate on the tour will compete in one of four age divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 11-14, Girls 11-14 and Girls 15-18. Based out of Jacksonville, FL, the HJGT administers events all across the nation, with stops in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama and Ohio.
