Tennessee State Closed Tennis Results

  Former Vanderbilt basketball player Ken Campbell along with Dennis Covington and Caroline Haynes were double winners Sunday in the finals of the 2012 Tennessee State Tennis Closed (odd age divisions) Tennis Championshop at Manker Patten.

Campbell won singles and doubles titles in the men's 65s, Covington did the same in the men's 55s and Haynes claimed championships in women's 75s singles and doubles.

DeWayne McCamish, Mike Parker, Rob Healy and Blain Smith were each 1-1 in the finals; McCamish teamed with Campbell to win the Men's 65s doubles, Mke Parker won the Mixed 55s doubles with Elizabeth Bohac, Healy and Sue Bartlett won the Mixed 35s and Smith teamed with Glenn Crouch to win the Men's 45s doubles.

Campbell had a good year playing at Manker Patten as he also won the Men's 65s singles and doubles (also with McCamish) in the TVOC in June.
