A man told police he was severely beaten and held prisoner after his sister told a group that he had raped her about a year earlier.
Charged with aggravated robbery and false imprisonment are Joseph Daniel Bradley, 18, of 1300 Slamon Branch Road; Patrick Eugene Morrison, 22, of 501 Tremont St.; Glen James McNutt, 23, of 51 Lytle St., and Johnathan A. Summers, 22, of 4792 Forestwood Lane.
Police said they interviewed Michael Pearson at Erlanger Hospital about a robbery the night before at 541 E. Manning St. He said he had gone to that residence with his sister, Brandon Chalker and Bradley "to party and spend the night."
He said he knew the resident of that address, McNutt, only as "Shaggy". He said Patrick Morrison and Tia Skidmore were also there.
He said after his sister told of the alleged rape that some in the group jumped him and beat him. He said they also took his wallet and cellphone. He said he was not able to leave until some 10 hours after arriving.
He said Morrison and Summers were the main aggressors, but he was also hit by McNutt and Bradley.
Police said Bradley admitted striking the victim in the testicles repeatedly, while the other three punched him in the face and ribs.
Police were told that Ms. Skidmore videotaped the beating on her cellphone.
The victim sustained swollen tissue, multipe bruises and cuts to his face, it was stated.
