Love Named Executive Director At Life Care Center Of Hixson

Life Care Center of Hixson has named Doyle Love as its new executive director.

Mr. Love most recently served as executive director at Life Care Center of East Ridge, a position he held for six years.

“I try to live up to my name,” said Mr. Love. “I feel like God has placed me in long-term care to help others.”

A certified nursing home administrator, Mr. Love earned his bachelor’s degree in health care administration. He is a fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators, a registered nurse and a preceptor to instruct new long-term care administrators. He has won several company and statewide awards during his tenure at the East Ridge facility – most recently, the ACHCA Facility Leadership Award this spring.

“Doyle’s background in nursing, as well as his proven leadership abilities, are perfectly suited for this new placement,” said Mike Pigg, vice president of Life Care Centers of America’s Cumberland Region.

“Life Care Center of Hixson is a beautiful building,” said Mr. Love. “Who would not want to come here for their rehabilitation? The food is good, we have luxurious private rooms and experienced staff.”

Mr. Love currently resides in Chattanooga.

Life Care Center of Hixson, at 5798 Hixson Home Place, opened in March 2011. It is one of 25 skilled nursing facilities in Tennessee operated or managed by Life Care Centers of America.
