Todd Gardenhire Is The Most Qualified Candidate

Tuesday, October 16, 2012

Interesting that Andrae McGary received $7,700 from Olan Mills for his State Senate campaign. The Mills family didn't have enough money to fund their long-time employees pension fund when they, "sold them down the river," as one former employee was quoted as saying when they were laid off by their new owners. But they sure have enough money to give to the Democrats including Obama and McGary. And all the time I thought the Democrats were the party of the "working" people.

Todd Gardenhire is a local guy who grew up in the Chattanooga public school system and then attended UC before it became UTC where he graduated. He is a finance professional and has a much better understanding of the Chattanooga district he is running in than a carpet-bagger from Texas. And he sure won't take a talk show host job that will interfere with his duties as a State Senator after being elected.

Todd will follow in the foot-steps of Andy Berke who cast partisan politics aside to do what was best for his district and the Chattanooga area working with the overwhelming Republican majority and Governor Bill Haslam. I ask you to cast your vote for the most qualified candidate, Todd Gardenhire.

Unbeaten Country Club Swimmers Still Leading White Division

The Country Club Wavemakers have been a dominant force in the Chattanooga Area Swim League in years past when they were associated with Shepherd Hills. That was back about 30 or more years ago when they always had some incredible dual meets with the Cumberland Youth Foundation. Times have changed since those glory days, but coach Stan Corcoran is working hard to ... (click for more)
