The Chattanooga law firm of Evans Harrison Hackett, PLLC announced that Timothy L. Mickel has joined the firm as a member.

Mr. Mickel graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1995 and obtained his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1992.  Over his career, Mr. Mickel has represented a diverse spectrum of individual and corporate clients in contract and commercial litigation, construction law, insurance law, health care litigation, products liability and tort litigation, employment law and other areas.  He is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Georgia.

 

Mr. Mickel served as a judicial clerk to Judges David R. Farmer and Holly K. Lillard of the Tennessee Court of Appeals from 1995 to 1996. 

Mr. Mickel currently serves as Secretary of the Board of Governors of the Chattanooga Bar Association and as President-Elect of the Justices Ray L. Brock Jr. and Robert E. Cooper American Inn of Court.  He is a past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Greater Chattanooga Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.  He is a 2010 graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program.
