Mabel Ross Ellis, 96, of Kimball, TN, died Thursday, October 18, 2012.

She had worked in interior decorating for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Ellis; son, Sherman N. Ellis; and parents, Sherman and Ethel Vinsant Ross. 

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Ball, Kimball; sisters, Barbara Rogers, Hixson and Faye King, Ft. Oglethorpe; granddaughter, Crystal Ball Lewis; and great-grandchildren, Brandon Stewart and Celeste Lewis.

Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT, Saturday, October 20, with Bro. Jamey Eggert and Rev. Allan Rogers officiating. Interment will follow in Beene-Raulston Cemetery, in Sweden’s Cove.

The family will receive friends from 3-9 p.m. CDT on Friday, October 19 at the Tate Funeral Home who has charge of the arrangements.


Williamson, Betty Faye (Copperhill)

Betty Faye Williamson, 54, of Copperhill, died on May 16, 2013.  She was born in Salisbury, N..,C and raised in Chattanooga. She worked at Animal Clinic East for 12 years and was a big animal lover. Man Stabbed To Death After Argument

A Chattanooga man was stabbed to death after an argument on Friday night.
