East Ridge Police responded Friday morning, to a report of a vehicle crash involving a car having struck a building at 3920 Ringgold Road. Patrol units arrived on the scene at 9:54 a.m.
A preliminary investigation into the incident indicates that the driver pressed her vehicle’s accelerator when she meant to press the brake pedal. As a result, her vehicle struck a parked car, a support post attached to the structure at 3920 Ringgold Road, and then the building itself.
