Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Club Meets Oct. 9

The Greater Chattanooga Democratic Women's Club is holding its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. at the IBEW Local Union Hall, 3922 Volunteer Drive.

Organizers said "This month we invite you to come help us celebrate an important Democratic woman: Eleanor Roosevelt. In honor of her birthday and to celebrate National Democratic Women's Day we welcome guest speaker Tennessee State Representative JoAnne Favors. This is a wonderful opportunity for Democratic women in Hamilton county to come together in fellowship."

Creative Discovery Museum Hosts Folklife Summer Music And Dance Series

Creative Discovery Museum will host the Folklife Summer Music and Dance Series to feature the cultural diversity found in the Chattanooga region.
