Covenant College will host a Hymn Festival entitled “Our God in Ages Past and Years to Come” on Friday, at 8 p.m. in the college chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature the Covenant Brass Ensemble, the Covenant Chorale, and the Renaissance Consort, and will include congregational singing of a number of hymns, including “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty” and “O Come, O Come Emmanuel.”
“Attendants can expect a time of worship through Scripture and song,” said Professor David Long, who is directing the hymn festival.
“Come ready to be inspired,” said Professor Long, “but mostly come ready to participate in congregational song. The most important choir at the hymn festival is the college community!”
