Mitch McClure Speaks On "When Did God Not Help You?" Sunday

Middle Valley Church of God, 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, continues its adopted theme for 2012, "Involving Ourselves in 2012."  This theme will guide all ministry efforts. In conjunction with this theme, Pastor Mitch McClure is preaching a new series of sermons titled, "The Church Must Be The Church."   Pastor McClure will speak on the topic "When Did God Not Help You?" in the 10:30 a.m. service on Sunday. 
 
Pastor McClure will lead the church in a prayer focused service on Sunday, in the 6:30 p.
m. service. 
 
Each Monday from 7-8 p.m., the church offers a prayer service which is open to all.  Participants are encouraged to come and go as their schedule dictates.
 
In addition to the Sunday worship times, Sunday School is offered with classes for all age groupings at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday.  As well, Family Training Hour is offered each Wednesday at 7 p.m. with classes for all age groupings.  Presently, Pastor McClure is leading a Bible study on the topic, "Where Is God?"  This interactive study is conducted in the administrative classroom of the church.  All are invited to participate in all the opportunities of Middle Valley Church of God.

Churchwide Missions Lunch Is Sunday At Signal Mountain Baptist

A churchwide mission lunch will be at noon this Sunday, at Signal Mountain Baptist Church, 939 Ridgeway Ave. All donations for the meal will go toward youth mission trips this summer. Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
