The Chattanooga Market and Ringgold Market are sponsors of the Wounded Warrior Veterans run/walk event held on Nov. 3 at the Benton Place Campus in Ringgold. The event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project whose mission is to honor and empower veteran wounded warriors.
Registration for both the 5k and 1 mile walk will be at the Benton Place Campus at 8:30 a.m., with the run/walk beginning at 9 a.m. Concessions will be available at the NWGA campus.
The Ringgold Market, first open this past summer, was the first of its kind to be held street-side in downtown Ringgold offering fresh produce from local farmers each Saturday morning throughout the summer months. The outstanding community support from Ringgold will lead to another season the summer of 2013. The Chattanooga Market/Ringgold Market has become actively involved in the Ringgold area and Catoosa County and is proud to assist in efforts to raise awareness and to enlist the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members.
