The City of Chattanooga Parks and Recreation Department is offering several festivals, trunk and treat events and more in numerous communities within the City of Chattanooga. This effort and collaboration with partners will offer safe, well supervised locations for children of all ages and their families.
“Safety and family fun are our top priorities”, said Greta Hayes, Director of Recreation. “Let our Recreation staff and our partners do the foot work, while children and their families enjoy a fun atmosphere in their own neighborhood.”
Numerous partners along with a committed staff will provide festivals and events in over half a dozen locations offering food, prizes, face painting, games, even chili! Events, festivals and trunk or treat festivities will start Thursday, Oct. 25, lasting through Halloween night and will extend from Lookout Valley to Greenway Farm in Hixson.
Volunteers are still being sought for the events. For more information on each event, stop by your local Community Center, or call 643-6096.
