Tennessee voters continued their strong early voting turnout Wednesday. Turnout for the day again topped 100,000 voters, bringing the statewide seven-day total to 709,342 voters who have already cast their ballots for the Nov. 6 election.
“I am pleased with the turnout we have seen during this first week of early voting,” said Secretary of State Tre Hargett. “I expect turnout to remain strong as we approach the end of early voting next week.”
Friday and Saturday will mark the last weekend hours for early voting, which will continue through next Thursday.
Voters with questions regarding the locations and hours of early voting are encouraged to contact their local election commission offices.
