Lake Winnie Keeps Growing With New Attraction

Rossville's Lake Winnepesaukah keeps going strong with a planned five-acre water park opening next summer.
Guests will also enjoy the familiar attractions, such as the Boat Chute, the Cannon Ball and the antique carousel for one admission price.
Lake Winnie has been operated by the same family since 1925. The Boat Chute opened in 1927 and was the precursor to today's log flumes.

Tennessee Aquarium Has Underwater Pumpkin Carving On Saturdays

Tennessee Aquarium guests can see underwater pumpkin carving demonstrations each Saturday at 11 a.m. throughout October in the River Journey building. Fire Displaces Family Of 7; Blaze Ruled Accidental

No injuries were reported in connection with a house fire on Saturday afternoon that displaced a family of seven.
