b) A resolution authorizing the Mayor to apply for, and if awarded, accept an Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga grant to pay for urban artists, primer, and spray paint for the pillars across from the Wellness Center, in the amount of $6,248.82.  (District 8.)

c) A resolution authorizing Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Talley Construction Company relative to Contract No. E-08-010-201, Shallowford Road at Jenkins Road Intersection Improvement, for an increased amount of $24,336.19, for a revised contract amount not to exceed $1,522,718.86, and to release the remaining contingency of $125,663.81.  (District 4.)

d) A resolution authorizing the Administrator of the Department of Parks and Recreation to apply for and, if granted, accept a grant from Allied Arts of Greater Chattanooga for the Listen Up Internet Radio/Internship Program, in the amount of $6,000.00.

6. Ordinances – First Reading:

a) An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 12622 known as “the Fiscal Year 2012-2013 Budget Ordinance” so as to appropriate $75,000.00 from the General Fund contingency to the Chattanooga Regional Homeless Coalition to be used to provide emergency night shelter for individuals and families during the period December 1, 2012 through February 28, 2013.

 b) MR-2011-107 Paul Mallchock (Abandonment).  An ordinance closing and abandoning of an unnamed alley located in the 200 block of Baker Street, more particularly described herein, subject to certain conditions.  (District 1.)

7. Resolutions:

a) A resolution approving additional Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA) Parking Ambassadors with special police officers’ commissions for Steve Carpenter, Michelle Ebert, and Daryl Jackson.

b) A resolution authorizing the Administrator of Education, Arts, and Culture to enter into an agreement with Franklin Associates Architects, Inc. to design, prepare for bid, and oversee the replacement of the roof for the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium for a stipulated amount not to exceed $43,791.00, plus reimbursable expenses not to exceed $2,531.00, for a total amount not to exceed $46,322.00.

c) A resolution authorizing Tower Place Homeowners Association c/o Mary F. Eubanks to use temporarily the portion of a right-of-way located at the 1701 Market Street and 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 West 17th Street for the installation of awnings, as shown on the maps and drawing attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, subject to certain conditions.  (District 8.)

d) A resolution authorizing the Administrator of the Department of Public Works to enter into an agreement with Ragan-Smith Associates, Inc., for professional services, relative to Contract No. E-11-011-101, Central Avenue Roadway Extension, TDOT PIN 117216.00, for an amount not to exceed $760,772.00.  (District 8.)

e) A resolution referring to the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Agency consideration of the repeal of City Code Section 38-43(4) relating to Special Exceptions Permits for a two-family dwelling in R-1 Residential Zone.

Crime Stoppers: Credit Card Fraud At Walmart On Highway 153

Crime Stoppers, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, and the Chattanooga Police Department are seeking information regarding a theft and the use of credit cards by fraud which occurred at Walmart on Highway 153 on May 7.
