Salvation Army Kicks Off Christmas Campaign Nov. 3

The Salvation Army will kick off the Chattanooga Salvation Army’s Christmas Campaign inside Hamilton Place Mall, Saturday, Nov. 3, at 3 p.m. on the Center Stage on the lower level. 

Luther Masingill, the Salvation Army 2012 Honorary Christmas chairman, will join Angel Tree Partners Hamilton Place Mall, News 12, KZ106, WGOW AM/FM News Talk Radio, and J103 FM in making the first donations to the red kettles. 

The Salvation Army of Cleveland will kick off its Christmas Campaign on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Bradley Square Mall.  The kick off program will begin at noon. 

The Tennessee Valley will begin to hear the bells and be able to adopt angels from their Angel Trees Saturday, Nov. 3.

Whitfield Cert Adds 10 New Members After Emergency Response Training

The Salvation Army Of Greater Chattanooga Expecting To Feed More Than 1,000 Hungry Neighbors This Week

The Salvation Army, with the help of dozens of volunteers, hosted the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Eve Community Festival Wednesday, from noon–2 p.m. at 800 McCallie Ave. Over 200 were served by 50 plus volunteers. 10-Year-Old Boy Seriously Injured In Attack By Pit Bull At His Home In Sale Creek

A 10-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when he was attacked by a Pit Bull on Thanksgiving Day morning. Alecia Driggins Faces Multiple Charges After Robbery And Hit-And-Run In East Ridge

East Ridge Police arrived on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the East Ridge Flea Market at 6725 Ringgold Road in response to a reported pedestrian struck and hit and run incident. Lawlessness At Heritage Park

As a frequent visitor at Heritage Park in East Brainerd, I must say that the situation is becoming slightly out of control.  To start, parking is atrocious.  The unpaved lot contains nothing but loose gravel which has naturally given way to divots in the ground assuring you a few bumps.  Why isn't this area smoothed out?  It's not worth parking there anyways ...
