Reese Phillips Leads Signal Mountain Past Sequatchie County

Kentucky commitment Reese Phillips threw three touchdown passes Friday night and led Signal Mountain past Sequatchie County, 61-0, in a District 7-AA high school football game at Signal Mountain

Signal Mountain improved to 7-3 and 5-0. Sequatchie County ended its season 2-8 and 0-5.

Madison Byrd caught two touchdown passes from Phillips and Caleb Menzel caught the other.

Phillips was 14-of-18 for 280 yards.

Woman Found Dead On Lovell Road; Police Looking For Terry Releford

A woman was found dead on Sunday morning at 8912 Lovell Road, and police are seeking a "person of interest" in the case. Deputies responded to that location at approximately 8 a.m. on a suspicious death. On arrival "deputies found a dead female in her 30s deceased from an apparent homicide."
